Crystal Lake fire stations

From Tyler Tobolt: --- Hey everyone, I recently had the chance to visit and take some photos of the Crystal Lake Fire Department’s stations—specifically Stations 1, 3, and 4. It was an interesting experience, getting a behind-the-scenes look at these critical facilities that play such a vital role in keeping the community safe. Here's what I found: ### Crystal Lake Fire Department Station 1 Location: 100 W Woodstock St This is the main station and it houses quite an impressive fleet of vehicles. There’s Engine 341, which is their primary engine, along with Engine 340, a reserve unit. They also have a Tender 371 for water supply, a Tower 381 for aerial operations, and Battalion 330 for command purposes. Additionally, they’ve got Squad 359 for rescue missions, and two ambulances, Ambulance 352 and Ambulance 355, for medical emergencies. There’s even a boat for water rescues. ![](https://example.com/station1.jpg) *Crystal Lake Fire Department Station 1. They’ve got Engine 343, Ambulance 353, and Brush Truck 361 for wildland fires. They’re also part of MABAS 5, which means they have access to special equipment for unique situations. ![](https://example.com/station3.jpg) *Crystal Lake Fire Department Station 3. This station has Engine 344 and Ambulance 354, both essential for day-to-day operations. One of the most interesting vehicles here is Dive 391, which is specifically equipped for water rescues and recoveries. ![](https://example.com/station4.jpg) *Crystal Lake Fire Department Station 4. Each station has its own strengths and specialties, ensuring that the entire community remains protected no matter where an emergency might occur. If you ever get the chance, it’s worth visiting your local fire department to learn more about their work—it’s truly inspiring! --- *Note: All photos were taken by me, Tyler Tobolt.
