Introduction Working Principle of Cartridge Filter Through the combined effects of Brownian diffusion and sieve filtration, dust accumulates on the surface of the filter material. After purification, the clean air moves into the exhaust chamber through the duct. As the thickness of the dust layer increases, so does the resistance on the filter surface. When the resistance reaches a set value, the filtered air is first cut off, and then the electromagnetic pulse valve is opened. Compressed air is injected into the filter cartridge, causing it to expand and vibrate. This action dislodges the dust from the filter surface, which falls into the ash hopper through the discharge valve. Applications Structure Composition (1) The filter cartridge is composed of an outer layer, inner layer, and middle layer. The inner and outer layers are covered with metal mesh or hard plastic net, while the middle layer is folded filter material. The key feature of the cartridge filter is the sub-micron ultra-thin fiber layer attached to the general filter material. These fibers are closely packed, with gaps ranging from 0.12–0.6 μm. Due to intensive folding, the filter area is significantly increased, making it highly efficient. (2) The cabinet serves as the shell of the dust collector, including the gas tank and ash hopper. The gas tank provides the necessary cleaning space, promoting even airflow distribution. The ash hopper collects the filtered dust. (3) The ash removal mechanism includes components such as the blowpipe, pulse valve, and air bags. When dust accumulates on the filter cartridge surface, it is removed. The cleaned air passes through the filter and is discharged. When the filter resistance reaches a set differential pressure or time setting, the corresponding electromagnetic valve is controlled by a differential pressure gauge or controller. The pulse valve opens, allowing compressed air to pulse the filter cartridge and remove the dust. 2,2`-Azobisisobutyronitrile,2 2 -Azobisisobutyronitrile Cas 78-67-1,Aibn Used As Rubber Plastic,Aibn Used As Polymerization Initiator SHANDONG MINGDE CHEMICAL CO.,LTD. , https://www.sdmingdechem.comSmall Footprint Cartridge Dust Collector Similar to Donaldson
A cartridge filter is a type of dust collector that uses filter cartridges as its main filtration element. It is an advanced product designed for air purification and industrial powder (smoke) dust removal, based on the application of pulse bag filters. With high air volume (over 99.5%), low operating pressure (0.2–0.6 MPa), and low resistance loss (800–1000 Pa), it is highly favored by users. This type of filter features advanced technology, compact design, compliance with emission standards, a small footprint, lower investment costs, and reduced operational expenses.
The cartridge filter consists of a cabinet, filter cartridges, and an injection system. When dusty air enters the dust collector, the sudden expansion and air distribution plate cause larger dust particles to settle in the ash hopper due to gravity and inertia. The finer dust particles then enter the dust filtering chamber.
This type of pulse dust collector is suitable for dust removal at the inlet of blast furnace blowers, oxygen generators, air compressors, control rooms, master control room air intakes, clean workshops, public building air conditioning systems, and low-concentration flue gas. With continuous advancements in materials and dust removal technology, the application of cartridge filters is expanding. Currently, they are widely used in industries such as building materials, metallurgy, power, food, and chemicals. They are gradually replacing traditional bag filters and electrostatic precipitators.
The cartridge filter mainly consists of three parts: the filter cartridge, the cabinet, and the ash removal mechanism.
