Nationwide Boiler Matches Employee Donations For Annual Holiday Food Drive

Nationwide Boiler Inc., a leading provider of boiler rentals and equipment sales, wrapped up their annual holiday food drive this year, which was held virtually for the second consecutive year due to ongoing pandemic restrictions. As part of their commitment to community support, the company matched employee donations, raising over $4,300 to benefit two local food banks: the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) and the Clark County Food Bank. The ACCFB is located near Nationwide Boiler’s headquarters in Fremont, California, while the Clark County Food Bank serves the area surrounding the company’s Controls Division in Washougal, Washington.
In addition to the employee-matched contributions, Nationwide Boiler made an extra $1,000 donation to a produce initiative led by Meika Pope from the Washougal office. This contribution helped fund the growth and distribution of a wide variety of fresh, organic vegetables from Shady Grove Farms, including cabbage, winter squash, potatoes, beets, onions, and various greens. Meika and other employees delivered the produce in three separate shipments to the Camas Family-Community Resource Center, where it was then distributed to hundreds of families in need.
