Nationwide Boiler Matches Employee Donations For Annual Holiday Food Drive

Nationwide Boiler Inc., a leading provider of rental boilers and equipment sales, recently wrapped up their annual holiday food drive, which took place virtually for the second consecutive year due to ongoing pandemic restrictions. This year’s initiative saw the company match employee donations, contributing over $4,300 to two local organizations: the Alameda County Community Food Bank (ACCFB) and the Clark County Food Bank. The ACCFB serves the community around Nationwide Boiler’s headquarters in Fremont, California, while the Clark County Food Bank supports the area near the company’s Controls Division in Washougal, Washington.
In addition to the employee donation match, Nationwide Boiler made an extra $1,000 contribution to a local produce initiative led by Meika Pope from the Washougal office. The funds helped support Shady Grove Farms in growing a variety of fresh, organic produce such as cabbage, winter squash, potatoes, beets, onions, and greens. Meika and several other employees delivered the harvest in three separate installments to the Camas Family-Community Resource Center, where it was distributed to hundreds of families in need.
