Resonance screen works and performance

The resonant screen system is made according to the principle of spring resonance. When the spring is applied outside the spring, the spring will elongate and the spring will vibrate after the external force is removed. Since the spring has internal friction (damping), the amplitude will become smaller and smaller, and finally the vibration will stop. If an external force can be applied periodically during the vibration process, and the force is equal to the internal resistance of the spring, the vibration will be maintained. A sieve made by this principle is called a resonance sieve.
The structure of the elastic link resonance screen is shown in the following figure:

When the eccentric shaft of the transmission mechanism (crank link) rotates, the elastic link mounted on the eccentric shaft forces the upper screen box to vibrate. When the upper screen box vibrates, the vibration is transmitted to the lower screen box by the leaf spring, and the lower screen spring moves the vibration to the lower screen box under the action of the rubber spring, and the lower screen box is driven by the rubber spring. The upper screen box resonates, and the upper and lower screen boxes make a relative motion with a vibration angle of 45°. At this time, the rubber springs on the upper and lower screen boxes continuously exchange energy, that is, the mutual conversion of kinetic energy and potential energy, so that the sieve is vibrated. Because the upper and lower screen boxes vibrate in opposite directions, the entire screen works very smoothly.
A resonant screen is a vibrating screen that operates near resonance. Its advantages are large processing capacity, low power consumption, and the material jumps forward 45° on the screen surface, the layering is good, the screening efficiency is high, the amplitude is large, and the screen wear is light. The disadvantages are that the device has a large weight, a complicated manufacturing process, strict installation requirements, and easy aging of the rubber spring. However, the above disadvantages can be completely overcome by an appropriate means.
