The national key R&D program is a combination of the national key basic research and development plan, the national high-tech research and development plan, the national science and technology support plan, the special international science and technology cooperation and exchange, the industrial technology research and development fund, and the special research projects of the public welfare industry. It is understood that the project was jointly undertaken by the Pipeline Branch of the National Petroleum Corporation and China Petroleum University, Tsinghua University, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other 19 units and was successfully declared on June 26 at the Ministry of Science and Technology. The project relies on six national key laboratories such as "oil pipeline and equipment material service behavior and structural safety" and six national engineering laboratories such as "oil and gas pipeline transportation safety" and conducts experiments and research to ensure that the project obtains theoretical and technological research and development. With strong support, it will carry out research and development on various technologies such as research and testing of internal and external inspection and inspection technologies for oil and gas pipelines and storage tanks, and equipment development.
At the kick-off meeting of the project, the project leader was Vice President of China National Petroleum Corporation Huang Weihe, Academician of China's 21st Century Agenda, China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, China National Petroleum Corporation's Science and Technology Management Department, PetroChina Natural Gas and Pipeline Company.
