Chicago working fire 11-19-14
This is what Josh Boyajian just shared:
Yesterday afternoon, we were heading out to check out the new buggy assigned to Battalion 9. As we passed Engine 110, they received a still alarm at 6048 North Francisco. Engine 89 arrived on scene and initially didn’t see much activity upon arrival. However, once the crews went inside, they discovered a significant amount of smoke filling the stairwell of a first-floor apartment. It turned out to be a dryer fire.
Engine 89 quickly deployed a hose line, and Truck 56 was sent to the roof. Within minutes, they had the fire under control. This incident served as a good test run for the new equipment, and it all worked perfectly.
Attached are some photos I managed to snap, including shots of the new buggy. You’ll also see images of Engine 89, Truck 47, and Battalion 9 in action. The firefighters did an excellent job handling this situation, and it’s always great to witness such professionalism in action.

It's always impressive to see how well-trained these teams are, especially when dealing with unexpected situations like this one.
