Before the magnetic carbon is loaded into the adsorption tank, the natural magnetic mineral in the ore should be removed to ensure that the magnetic fabric has a high adsorption rate and a gold loading amount.
The magnetic fabric used in the method is more wear-resistant than ordinary carbon, thereby reducing the gold loss carried away by the fine-grained carbon; separation by a magnetic separator can reduce the loss of activated carbon due to mechanical screening. The main disadvantage of the magnetic carbon method is that it is expensive because of the use of a magnetic separator.
