Lake Villa Fire District ambulances
Jeff Rudolph recently paid a visit to the Lake Villa Fire District and shared some updated photos of their ambulances. A couple of these vehicles have undergone a transformation, getting repainted to match the fire district’s signature color scheme. Previously, these units belonged to the Lake Villa Rescue Squad and were painted in a blue-and-white color combination. However, after the squad merged with the fire district, all their equipment, including these ambulances, transitioned to the standard red color. One of the newly repainted vehicles is the 2010 Ford E-450/Osage ambulance, now serving as Ambulance 241R in Lake Villa. This ambulance has been given a fresh coat of paint to align with the district's current aesthetic. Jeff Rudolph captured this impressive vehicle in action.
Another example is the 2011 Ford E-450/Osage Type III ambulance, designated as Ambulance 241. This unit has retained its original design but now operates under the unified fire district. The photograph below highlights the vehicle’s clean lines and professional appearance.
Additionally, there’s the 2009 Ford E-450/Osage Type III ambulance, known as Ambulance 243. Like its counterparts, this ambulance has also received a new paint job, reflecting the district’s cohesive branding.
