Hyundai Heavy Industries completed 4,000 low-speed marine engines

On February 24th, Hyundai Heavy Industries Engine Division announced that Hyundai Heavy Industries has completed the production of 4,000 low-speed marine engines with the world's fastest production efficiency and shortest production time.

This is the latest record of the engine industry after Hyundai Heavy Industries broke through the engine output of 100 million horsepower for the first time in 2010. The 4000th engine is a large-scale engine of the 93360-horsepower class (12RT-Flex96C-B). It has been officially launched after the successful commissioning of a large engine assembly plant.

Since June 1979, the Hyundai Heavy Industries Engine Division has enjoyed a high reputation in the industry. The total number of engines produced to date has reached 116 million horsepower. Hyundai Heavy Industries has successfully become the world's largest engine manufacturer and now accounts for 35% of the global engine market.
