ABB's scope of supply includes an integrated ship management system (VMS), power management and high voltage AC control system (HVAC), emergency shutdown system (ESD) and energy management system. The ship will become the first cruise ship in the world to use the Ethernet-based IEC61850 protocol as the communication protocol for the plant management system.
