Domestic brake technology has made significant progress

Brakes, commonly known as brakes, are important mechanical parts that stop or decelerate moving parts in machinery. In recent years, with the rapid development of the automotive industry, the development of the domestic brake industry has created a good opportunity for development. At present, four large-scale brake production bases have been established in China, namely Yingkou in Liaoning Province, Wuhu in Anhui Province, Ruian in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, and Sanqi Town in Yuyao City.

I. Large-scale application of disc brakes and ABS in domestic models

Under the background of the continuous strengthening of China's automobile safety standards, the brake system for passenger/commercial vehicles began to transition to disc brakes, and at the same time, ABS began to be popularized by passenger vehicles of intermediate and high grades to economical passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles. In addition, as foreign-funded manufacturers make progress in the transfer of production to China and R&D of ethnic minority manufacturers, the construction of a mass-produced air-disc brake and ABS mass production system continues to advance.

In 2007, the production scale of automobile brakes increased by 24% year-on-year to 28.04 million units, of which the production rate of disc brakes increased from 3.2% in 1998 to 41.8% in 2007. In 2007, the cumulative ABS production of six statistical objects reached 1.13 million units.

In the late 1990s, the Chinese automobile brake industry was mainly engaged in the production of drum brakes; in the early 2000s, with the expansion of the production scale of passenger vehicles, the transition to disc brakes with better braking and heat dissipation performance than drum brakes began. In 2007, the production scale of disc brakes reached 11.7 million units, which increased to 188 times in 1998.

At the same time, the scope of ABS assembly has expanded from mid-to-high-end passenger cars to small cars and economic vehicles, and high-end commercial vehicles have begun to equip ABS on a large scale. As of 2008, the penetration rate of hydraulic ABS for passenger vehicles has increased to more than 90%. In the high-end commercial vehicles segment, the demand for pneumatic ABS for high-end light buses for hydraulic ABS, large buses and heavy-duty trains continues to expand. Based on this situation, brakes and ABS suppliers are also committed to building a supply system while expanding equipment investment.

Second, the export of brakes has steadily increased in recent years

With the continuous consolidation of brake and ABS production systems in China, related products began to be exported overseas. According to data from the General Administration of Customs of China, the export of brakes increased to 340 million U.S. dollars in 2007, which is equivalent to 7 times the export volume in 2001. In 2007, ABS exports increased by 49.5% over 2003 and increased to US$9.46 million.

Domestic brake technology has made significant progress

However, the brake products exported to foreign markets are mainly used for tractors/trailers, passenger cars, mining dump trucks, light trucks, and heavy-duty trains. The export volume of passenger cars is very small. Domestic brake manufacturers mainly provide support for domestic auto manufacturers. For example, Zhejiang Asia Pacific Electromechanical Co., Ltd. mainly supplies Dongfeng Motor, First Automobile, Changan Automobile, FAW-Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Shanghai Volkswagen, Beijing Benz and Chery Automobile. Wanxiang Group mainly supplies Dongfeng Motor. Car, first car. It can be said that the Chinese maker market has been monopolized by foreign companies and big national brands.

However, in 2009, China's auto production both broke through the 13.5 million mark, creating a large market that can't be ignored for domestic and foreign car parts. It is a major opportunity for the brake suppliers of the National Department to not miss out and achieve rapid progress. Therefore, domestic suppliers should seize every opportunity to increase brand awareness and reputation during this period and strive for more domestic and foreign purchasers' approval.

We cooperate with Shanghai Jiao Tong University to research, develop and manufacture biomass boilers that use wood chips, straws, palm shells, mesocarp fiber, empty fruit bunch (EFB) fiber, rice husk and other wastes as fuels in order to achieve zero carbon dioxide emissions. After numerous tests and simulations, we have developed a reasonable structure of furnace arch, furnace wall and furnace heating surface that guarantees combustion efficiency and evaporation rate. NOx emissions of our biomass boilers can be as low as 100 mg/Nm3 with thermal efficiencies up to 90%.
