Excerpts from the ChicagoTribune.com: Three individuals were hospitalized following a fire that broke out in one apartment of a four-plus-one style building located on the 6900 block of North Sheridan Road. One of the victims was reported to be in serious condition, while the others were in fair-to-serious condition. The injured were taken to two different hospitals: two at Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, with one in critical condition and another in fair-to-serious condition, and a third person at Swedish Covenant Hospital, also in fair-to-serious condition. The fire was contained to a single apartment on the fourth floor of the building, and no other residents were reported to have been harmed.
