1. Cables and wires are fed into the crusher, where they are broken down, allowing the copper and plastic sheath to be completely separated. The size of the crushed material depends on the mesh size of the screen—larger meshes produce longer pieces and higher output. Choose the appropriate mesh based on the material type during production.
2. The resulting mixture of copper granules and plastic pieces is transported to the separator via conveyor. During this stage, dust and lightweight plastic fragments (such as fibers, ropes, or tapes) are collected by an air blower. The blower connects to a dust collector with a filter bag that prevents dust from being released into the environment. This bag collects dust and some lightweight plastics, which are removed when full.
3. The separator uses differences in physical properties and specific gravity between materials to separate copper granules from plastic pieces. By adjusting the conveying speed and vibration amplitude, copper (with higher specific gravity) moves to the bottom and upward, while plastic (with lower specific gravity) moves to the top and downward. Both are discharged through separate outlets.
4. All components are mounted on the underbed to form a compact unit. The machine is pre-adjusted and ready for operation before shipping, requiring only a power connection from the customer.
