All ambulances are custom-built by Life Line on IHC chassis, ensuring high-quality emergency response. The headquarters station, located at 35 N. Kuhn Road, is the heart of operations. It features four drive-through bays, administrative offices, and a full training facility complete with a burn tower. This station also houses a battalion car, an ambulance, and a tower ladder quint. Additional vehicles include a spare ambulance, an OEM Mobile Command Unit, a spare engine, and two historic fire apparatus, along with various staff vehicles.

The department’s website provides a detailed history, including the legacy of the Keeneyville Fire Protection District and the evolution of the Carol Stream Company. For many years, their equipment was painted in a black-over-yellow scheme, but this changed to red in 1996, marking a modernization of their identity. At Station 3, located at 1045 Lies Road, the two-piece squad company operates as a single unit. The first piece is Squad 235, a 2006 Spartan Gladiator Classic/Alexis 1500/750 pumper. The second unit is Rescue 235, a brand-new 2010 Spartan Metro Star Alexis HDR. Together, they carry all necessary tools for technical rescue operations.
