Bosch plans to build new plant in Serbia to produce wiper

The Bosch Group revealed that it will build a new factory near Belgrade, Serbia, to produce wipers.

The construction of the new factory will start in early 2012 and will occupy an area of ​​22,000 square meters. It will be put into production in early 2013. Initially, 60 employees will be recruited. Bosch will invest 70 million euros (9,422 million US dollars) in this factory by 2019. ) By 2019, the number of employees in the plant will increase to around 620.

The new factory is located in Pecinci, 25 km from Belgrade. Bosch believes that the establishment of a new Serbian plant will better serve the Central European market.

The plant is part of Bosch's electronic drive business unit. Bosch's electronic drive business unit mainly produces electric seats, sliding roofs, power windows, and wiper components. It operates 12 plants worldwide and employs 12,000 people.
