Heads up, here's what happened earlier this morning at the fire on 304 S 5th Ave in Maywood. When crews first arrived, they encountered heavy flames erupting from the back of this big wooden house. By the time I reached the scene, firefighters were really struggling to chase the fire through the hidden spaces upstairs and in the attic. It was a tough situation for them.
