Some rubber tire companies suggested that it is necessary to establish an industry alliance standard that exceeds national standards to unify requirements, standardize products, eliminate backward production capacity, and launch Dongying Tire's “energy saving, high performance, industry self-discipline, and orderly competitionâ€. The energy consumption per ton of rubber in some enterprises was reduced from 1135 kg standard coal/tonne promoted by the government to 800 kg standard coal/ton or less, and the product quality was far higher than the national standard.
